AidNet is a free public-service initiative of Safe Social Networking Society, a British Columbia nonprofit organization.
It was created with a single purpose: to bring Canadians together to help one another in times of natural disasters and emergencies.
AidNet provides a simple way to connect people seeking aid with those wanting to provide it.
People seeking assistance can search available listings and contact Aid Providers directly. AidNet does not assign assistance, manage volunteers, verify individual needs, or coordinate deliveries.
How AidNet Works
- Aid Providers and Aid Seekers register and activate their accounts by email.
- Registered users can submit a listing to request aid or provide aid.
- People seeking assistance search listings by category and location.
- Registered users contact each other directly to make their own arrangements.
- Users manage and update their own listings.

Listings are not manipulated to maximize engagement or keep you online.
No Third-Party Logins
Your AidNet account remains within the AidNet environment.
No Mailing Lists
AidNet does not mantain mailing lists or databases to store users' contact information.
